Hello, my name is Carmen.

Welcome to my website! My journey into Complementary Therapies began in , when I decided to take a radical turn in my professional career. Originally from Spain, where I studied Industrial Relations, I found myself in Glasgow looking for new educational and professional opportunities.

After discovering the Complementary Therapies course at City of Glasgow College, I knew I had found my true passion. The subjects, which included practices such as Reiki, immediately fascinated me. I decided to enrol and, after a process of interviews and waiting list, I started my training in 2018 with HNC. My motivation and enthusiasm for what I was learning led me to continue with the HND for two more years.

Upon completion of the HND, I received an exciting offer from the University of the Highlands and Islands to enter directly into the third year of their BSc (Hons) in Integrative Healthcare program. This opportunity allowed me to integrate my previous studies with a holistic approach to healthcare, preparing me to apply my knowledge both in the UK and further afield.

​

Currently, I am furthering my knowledge through a Master's Degree in Chiromassage, taken at a Spanish school, which allows me to delve deeper into the different massage techniques used in various countries. This not only enriches my training, but also gives me a global vision of massage and its application in different cultures.
